The Tree of Life (4th May)
Having caused an abundance of rumours for months, The Tree of Life is finally set for release this week. Starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, it follows the story of a 1950′s family. Centering it’s focus on eleven year old Jack, it sees him trying to understand the world around him, his childhood innocence soon giving way to life changing experiences with death and suffering.
Priest (6th May)
Paul Bettany and Karl Urban star in Priest – a religious film with a difference. Set in a alternate world, it follows one priest’s attempts to save his niece from the clutches of the evil vampire race. Having warred for centuries, the priest is all too aware of the fate that could be in store for his niece. Sure to please sci-fi fans, Priest is released this Friday.
Hanna (6th May)
Director Joe Wright brings us Hanna, a film that follows a 16 year old assassin set on a European mission by her father. Soon discovering secrets that shroud her life, Hanna is a must-see for fans of Bourne and Leon.
